CLINICAL UPDATES, EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTS, AND REAL-WORLD INSIGHTS FROM REFLOW MEDICAL
LINC 2026: Mainstage Symposium and Live Case Insights
We hosted a mainstage symposium focused on practical strategies for BTK CLTI treatment. The program featured an international faculty including Patrick Muck, MD; Daniel van den Heuvel, MD; Marc Sirvent, MD; Naoki Hayakawa, MD, and Shinya Ichihara, MD.
Another key highlight was a live case at University Clinic Leipzig, where Andrej Schmidt, MD, successfully demonstrated the use of the Wingman™ CTO Crossing Catheter, followed by treatment with the Spur® Retrievable Scaffold Therapy (RST) approach in a BTK CLTI intervention.
LINC 2026: Hands-On Workshops with Spur and Wingman
Three peer-to-peer workshops on practical techniques using Spur and Wingman were conducted. Two sessions, led by Daniel van den Heuvel, MD and Marc Sirvent, MD, highlighted the Spur RST approach for BTK treatment. A third workshop, led by Naoki Hayakawa, MD, focused on needle-based CTO crossing with the Wingman, inspired by Japanese practice.
ISET 2026: Congrats to Dr. Sean Lyden!
Sean Lyden, MD of the Cleveland Clinic received the Best Poster Award at ISET 2026, the International Symposium for Endovascular Therapy, for the DEEPER REVEAL study. The award recognizes the six‑month safety and efficacy results of our retrievable Spur stent in BTK CLTI.
FYA 2026: Education Can Be Different
At the Find Your Algorithm Congress in London, we supported a program built around interactive, case-based learning. An IVUS-guided case by Bruno Migliara, MD showcased Spur’s effect on lesion morphology and vasomotion.
Pegasus 2026: Endovascular Discussion
Anahita Dua, MD presented clinical insights on BTK PAD treatment using the Spur System during the online Pegasus Endovascular conference. She highlighted its unique ability to provide temporary scaffolding, modifying the vessel wall without leaving a permanent implant.
CRT 2026: Important FIH Insights on Spur Elute in Coronary In-stent Restenosis
Continuing the global scientific dialogue, Kathleen E. Kearney, MD, shared early clinical insights from the FIH DEEPER CORONARY trial at CRT 2026, the Cardiovascular Research Technologies meeting. She highlighted the potential of Retrievable Scaffold Therapy as an approach for addressing the challenge of coronary in-stent restenosis.
CRT 2026: Hands-On Learning for Complex Lesion Treatment
At CRT 2026, we supported hands-on education in complex lesion treatment. The Practicum & Cadaver Lab sessions offered a highly interactive, physician-led learning experience. Together with Fadi Saab, MD we enabled clinical exchange and practical skill development.
Wingman CTO Training: Bringing Japanese and European Expertise Together
The GRN Hospital Weinheim hosted physicians from different regions for a Physician Proctor Training session focused on CTO crossing in peripheral lesions, led by Grigorios Korosoglou, MD. Japanese CTO expertise met European clinical practice in a highly interactive, case-based setting, introduced by Naoki Hayakawa, MD. The Wingman CTO Crossing Catheter was at the center, with practical techniques and real-world insights shared by experienced proctors.
Advancing Physician Training in BTK and CLTI: European Series Continues
Bruno Migliara, MD and the team at Ospedale P. Pederzoli continued the series with an intensive Physician Proctor Training. Fellows engaged in real-world, case-based learning on treating CLTI and complex BTK disease in daily practice. The program included live cases with the Spur System and the Wingman CTO Crossing Catheter.
OEIS 2026: Shaping the Future of BTK Revascularization
The OEIS Technology Forum addressed the future of BTK revascularization. Together with Fadi Saab, MD we contributed to discussions on evolving strategies. High engagement showed strong interest in new approaches, including Retrievable Scaffold Therapy with the Spur System.
Singapore LIVE: Abstract Award for Scott Harding, MD
The Abstract Award was presented to Scott Harding, MD for the early results from the DEEPER CORONARY study, evaluating the Spur Elute Coronary Sirolimus-Eluting Retrievable Scaffold System for the treatment of coronary in-stent restenosis. It was part of the “Advanced Techniques for Cardiac Interventions and Assessment” session.
NSM 2026: U.S. National Sales Meeting for Strategy and Alignment
Our National Sales Meeting brought the U.S. Sales Team together to align on strategy, priorities, and our shared mission of healing wounds and saving limbs. The meeting also recognized the strong performance and achievements across the team over the past year, while preparing for the opportunities ahead.
Advancing Physician Training in BTK and CLTI: U.S. Series Kicks Off
Our Physician Proctor Training Program supports physicians advancing their skills in complex lesion treatment, BTK and CLTI therapy. The first session of the U.S. series was led by Fadi Saab, MD at MOVI. Participants engaged in case-based learning, gaining hands-on insights into the Spur System and our broader portfolio.
Expanding Global Adoption of Spur RST
The number of physicians adopting Spur RST continues to grow across regions. Recent first-time use cases by Dejan Mancevski, MD and team in North Macedonia are representative of a broader wave of physicians initiating the therapy in their clinical practice. Positive outcomes highlight increasing confidence in Retrievable Scaffold Therapy with the Spur System.
New Spur Case Report from the DEEPER REVEAL Trial
A new case by Michael Siah, MD highlights the treatment of a high-risk patient enrolled in the DEEPER REVEAL trial. Addressing a long, severely stenosed BTK lesion led to improved distal flow and positive 12-month follow-up results.
Spur Coding and Reimbursement: Webinar Series
To support our customers, we have introduced a webinar series focused on evolving billing and coding requirements for Spur procedures. The sessions provide practical guidance on CMS updates, CPT, DRG, and ICD-10 changes.
