Position Overview
The US Peripheral Training and Therapy Development Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving the adoption and growth of Reflow Medical’s peripheral vascular therapies through best-in-class education, training, and therapy development initiatives.
This role places a strong emphasis on building clinical and commercial capabilities by equipping physicians, sales teams, and clinical specialists with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve procedural excellence. Acting as both a clinical expert and educator, this individual will lead the development of scalable training programs while shaping therapy strategies that align with the U.S. market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Program Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive U.S. training strategy for peripheral vascular therapies (e.g., PAD, CLI).
- Develop structured, scalable curricula for multiple audiences, including physicians, fellows, sales representatives, and clinical specialists.
- Build progressive learning pathways (foundational → advanced → expert) to drive continuous development and therapy mastery.
- Establish competency frameworks, certification programs, and assessment tools to ensure consistent proficiency across the organization.
- Define and track training KPIs (e.g., adoption rates, competency attainment, procedural outcomes) to continuously improve program effectiveness.
Physician Education & Procedural Excellence
- Design and deliver hands-on physician training programs, including workshops, proctorships, and model-based learning.
- Partner with KOLs and physician champions to deliver peer-to-peer education and advanced case-based learning.
- Provide in-field clinical support, including case coverage and observational learning opportunities when appropriate.
Therapy Development & Clinical Integration
- Support the development and execution of U.S. therapy strategies for peripheral indications, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with Clinical Affairs to integrate clinical evidence, trial data, and real-world insights into training and therapy positioning.
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, actionable messaging to support physician adoption and field effectiveness.
- Identify emerging therapy opportunities and evolving treatment paradigms to inform future training and development efforts.
Content Development & Digital Learning
- Develop high-quality educational materials including procedural guides, case studies, e-learning modules, and field tools.
- Partner with Marketing and Clinical teams to ensure content is accurate and aligned with strategy.
- Drive adoption of digital learning platforms to enable scalable training.
Field Enablement & Commercial Training
- Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure field teams are fully equipped to support therapy adoption.
- Lead onboarding and continuous training programs.
- Provide field coaching and real-time feedback.
- Develop tools and messaging for clinical discussions.
Stakeholder Engagement & KOL Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S.-based KOLs and physician leaders.
- Organize training events, advisory boards, and workshops.
- Represent the company at national meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the training and therapy subject matter expert (SME).
- Collaborate with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, and Regulatory teams.
- Support product launches with training plans and materials.
- Provide feedback based on field insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical or scientific degree preferred.
- 5–10+ years of experience in medical devices, with focus on peripheral vascular therapies.
- Deep clinical and procedural knowledge of peripheral vascular disease including PAD and CLTI.
- Expertise in peripheral intervention workflows and device usage.
- Experience in clinical education and training.
- Strong understanding of U.S. clinical practice.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 50–70%.
