Milestone Moment: Spur® U.S. Launch at AMP 2025
In Chicago, we proudly celebrated the U.S. launch of the Breakthrough Device, Spur Peripheral Retrievable Stent System, a milestone for Reflow Medical and BTK treatment. One highlight was our dedicated symposium, featuring a live case by John Rundback, MD, moderated by Mahmood Razavi, MD. Together with a top international panel, the session showcased clinical data and real-world Spur experiences, demonstrating how Retrievable Scaffold Therapy (RST) is advancing BTK treatment and setting new standards in CLTI care.
Next Big Step in Coronary Intervention: Spur Elute Enrollment Completed
Enrollment in the Spur Elute DEEPER CORONARY Study has been successfully completed, marking another major accomplishment for Reflow Medical and Retrievable Scaffold Therapy (RST). The pilot study led by Prof. Scott Harding, MD from Wellington Hospital, New Zealand, explores the Spur Elute Sirolimus-Eluting Retrievable Scaffold System for in-stent restenosis, showing the potential to advance the treatment of coronary vascular disease.
Published in EuroIntervention: DEEPER OUS Study Confirms Strong Outcomes
The new publication highlights excellent one-year outcomes for Spur Retrievable Scaffold Therapy (RST) used prior to DCB angioplasty in infrapopliteal arteries. The results underline the safety and effectiveness of this approach in improving vessel patency, drug delivery, and clinical outcomes for BTK patients.
Featured in Endovascular Today: Spur RST Transforming BTK Treatment
Endovascular Today published an article on Spur Retrievable Scaffold Therapy (RST), showcasing its innovative approach to BTK intervention. In the article, leading interventionalists discuss the challenges of tibial treatment and vessel recoil, highlight Spur’s unique design and mechanism of action, and review clinical data from the DEEPER studies.
Expert Panel Discussion on Spur RST—Recording Available on Demand
A distinguished panel of leading vascular experts at the AMP Open-Air Studio discussed how Spur RST is redefining the treatment landscape for BTK CLTI. Moderated by S. Jay Mathews, MD, the session featured Prof. Marianne Brodmann, MD, Elizabeth Genovese, MD, and Ralf Langhoff, MD, discussing key clinical challenges and the proven performance of the Spur device. A real-world case presentation by Daniel van den Heuvel, MD, and John Phillips, MD, further highlighted the device’s clinical application and patient impact.
Stop POBA in BTK Therapy—Expert Webinar Now Available on Demand
Vascupedia proudly presented an exclusive German-language webinar featuring Michael Lichtenberg, MD and Prof. Andrej Schmidt, MD.

FIRST@CIRSE: New DEEPER OUS Substudy Data
Andrew Holden, MD presented FIRST@CIRSE data from the DEEPER OUS subgroup analysis in the main program, demonstrating strong and consistent outcomes across challenging BTK lesions. Additionally, Mahmood Razavi, MD, Ralf Langhoff, MD, Daniel van den Heuvel, MD, and Christian Wissgott, MD shared Spur RST data and clinical insights during our symposium and scientific sessions.
Strong Interest in Spur RST at CVI 2025
Spur drew a great deal of attention at Cardiovascular Innovations (CVI) 2025. Peter Soukas, MD, highlighted in his presentation “The Impact of Spur RST” how the technology is advancing treatment for complex BTK disease and sparked lively discussions among the audience. At the Reflow Medical booth, attendees experienced the Spur device firsthand and explored the promising potential of this novel approach.
New Case Reports Show Real-World Success with Spur RST
Two new clinical case reports highlight the real-world effectiveness of our Spur Stent System in challenging BTK interventions. Ahmed Ahmed, MD and Kevin Herman, MD each report successful Spur treatments with sustained patency, complete wound healing, and excellent follow-up outcomes.
First Use of Spur RST in France
In September, Gilles Goyault, MD and his team at Clinique Rhéna in Strasbourg, France successfully performed their first procedure using the Spur Peripheral Retrievable Scaffold System, followed by a drug-coated balloon, in a patient with BTK CLTI.
Collaborating in Southeast Asia—Success at ASVS
At the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery 2025 in Singapore, Michael Siah, MD contributed to an engaging session on Revascularization for CLTI and BTK Interventions, highlighting the clinical potential of Spur RST. The many visitors to our booth reflected the growing interest and enthusiasm for Spur RST, and provided an encouraging outlook for future collaborations in the region, together with our regional partner, Angeion Medical.
