Regional Sales Director – Northeast

GENERAL SUMMARY

A Reflow Medical Regional Sales Director will need a proven track record of success building and leading high-performing sales and clinical teams, launching new therapies and products, exceeding revenue and operational expense objectives, as well as attracting and developing exceptional sales and clinical talent. A successful Regional Sales Director will also need to know the clinical procedures and clinical data associated with Reflow Medical technologies and the procedures and markets we support. KOL development, successful IDN and GPO contracting, and presenting the Reflow Mission are all critical success factors for the role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Build and lead high-performing sales teams with a focus on peripheral vascular infrainguinal occlusive disease & complex PCI/CTO coronary procedures.
  • Utilize over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry to drive sales growth and market penetration.
  • Oversee Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) contracting activities.
  • Develop and maintain Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships to enhance brand visibility and product adoption.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of administrative and clinical excellence.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Maintaining adherence to company sales management and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with Director of Commercial Operations to measure and report feedback on sales strategies and marketing program effectiveness to ensure strategies and programs can be corrected, adapted, or developed to meet market development objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and sales leadership in the peripheral vascular and/or coronary medical device industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing and successful sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of GPO and IDN contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development.
  • Extensive experience with implementing and managing quota, variable compensation plans, performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and complex business analytics and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTs

  • Live in or near a major Northeast US metropolitan market with a major international airport.
  • Travel extensively, approximately 75%, to manage regional territories effectively.
  • Standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, light lifting, computer operation, travel by air/rail/auto.
